ALGO: You've been at this since you were 12. How has your relationship with writing evolved?
Nano Dinero: It's become more about stripping away the fluff. When I was younger, I wanted to say everything at once. Now, I want to say the right thing at the right time. It’s about precision.
ALGO: You speak often about being 'for the people.' How do you reconcile that with the often individualistic nature of rap?
Nano Dinero: The ego is the enemy of the art. If the music is just about me, it's limited. If it’s about us, it’s infinite. My success is tied to the people who believe in the message.
